Pederson is not in the lineup Friday against the Rockies, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
With the Rockies sending southpaw Kyle Freeland to the mound, Pederson will retreat for the second time in as many games. He collected two hits as a pinch hitter in Thursday's contest, so it appears manager Dave Roberts is just playing matchups, as Pederson sports an unsightly .160/.222/.160 triple slash against left-handers this season. Chris Taylor is sliding over to start for him in center field for the game, opening up a spot for Enrique Hernandez to start in left field.
