Heyward went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Athletics.
Heyward has gone 7-for-32 (.219) over his last 11 games, though that's a small improvement over his .207 batting average for the year. The steal was his fourth of the year and his first since June 22. The outfielder has added a .686 OPS, five home runs, 24 RBI, 22 runs scored, eight doubles and two triples over 174 plate appearances, mainly in a strong-side platoon role in right field.
