Dodgers' CJ Alexander: Booted from 40-man roster

The Dodgers designated Alexander for assignment Monday.

Alexander was just claimed off waivers last week and will now go through the waivers process again. The 28-year-old has spent most of this season at the Triple-A level, slashing .236/.335/.429 between three organizations.
