Vasquez's contract was selected by the Dodgers on Thursday.
The Dodgers acquired Vasquez from the Twins on the final day of August, and it did not take them long to add him to the big-league roster for the first time. Vasquez has not appeared in a big-league game since 2019, but the Dodgers will be hoping he can contain opposing left-handers, as he limited lefties to a .143 batting average and posted a 29:6 K:BB against them over 33 games with Triple-A Rochester this season.
