Tawa started in center field and went 1-for-3 with a double in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Cardinals.
Tawa moved into the starting lineup for the first time since being recalled from Triple-A Reno over the weekend. He defended center field, which has become a hole following the injury to Jordan Lawlar (hamstring). Jorge Barrosa started there in the first two games without Lawlar prior to Tawa on Monday.
