Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said following Tuesday's game that Arenado (thumb) will be in the lineup Wednesday, Arizona Sports reports.
Arenado was removed from Tuesday's game due to the injury that flared up following a fifth-inning at-bat. He played another inning before being replaced by Jose Fernandez. Fernandez or Ildemaro Vargas are in line to replace Arenado at the hot corner should the thumb injury linger.
