The Diamondbacks activated Soroka (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Wednesday.
Soroka will follow starter Zac Gallen on Wednesday in Kansas City in what's expected to be a piggyback start. The 29-year-old did not make any rehab appearances, instead opting for a 59-pitch simulated game Friday. Soroka could make some starts later this month, though the Diamondbacks have not divulged their specific plans for the righty.
