The Diamondbacks signed Perez to a minor-league contract Monday.
Perez finished last season at Triple-A Reno but hadn't played anywhere yet this year. The 32-year-old last saw action in the big leagues in 2023 and will give Arizona some experienced catching depth at Reno.
