Marte will undergo an MRI on his left ankle Tuesday, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Marte attempted to give it a go Monday against the Rockies but aggravated his left ankle injury in his first at-bat of the game and was forced to depart. A timeline for the second baseman's return should come into focus once the team's medical staff reviews his scans.
