Lawlar (hamstring) served as the designated hitter and went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored for Double-A Amarillo on Wednesday.
Lawlar, who played six innings in center field Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment, followed up as the DH a day later. He showed that his injured hamstring was not an issue in the sixth inning when he stole second base and scored the game-tying run on single. Beyond these two games with Amarillo, the Diamondbacks haven't mapped out a return path for Lawlar.
