Segura left Wednesday's game with a bruised left tricep, as X-rays were negative.
The Diamondbacks are off Thursday, so Segura will have a day to rest prior to the weekend series in San Francisco, but Arizona may just opt to give him a full week off before the second half starts. Phil Gosselin, who replaced Segura at second base Wednesday, figures to see some action at the keystone if Segura misses further time.
