Carroll went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Sunday's win over the Phillies.
Carroll entered the game in the fourth inning after Lourdes Gurriel was forced to leave with left hamstring tightness. Carroll was held in check until his final at-bat of the day, when he took Jose Alvarado deep to left center to extend the Diamondbacks' lead. He's now homered in consecutive games and has three home runs this month after combining for six total between June and July. Carroll also has tallied at least a hit in 15 of the 17 games he's played in since July 23. For the year, the 23-year-old is slashing .218/.308/.380 with 11 homers, 46 RBI, 79 runs, 21 steals and a 51:87 BB:K in 489 plate appearances.
