Owings went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer, a walk and two runs against the Padres on Tuesday.
Just 3-for-27 over his last seven appearances, Owings badly needed a bounce-back effort like this. Even with that slump, he's returned massive value for fantasy owners (most of whom likely plucked him off the waiver wire) by providing seven homers, 33 RBI and nine steals while being eligible at a number of positions.
