The Red Sox released Coulombe on Saturday.
Coulombe was DFA'd last weekend after turning in a 4.50 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 10:15 K:BB across 22 innings spanning 29 appearances out of the bullpen for Boston this season. The soft-tossing lefty will look for work elsewhere at 36 years old.
