Miley (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start against the Yankees on Friday, Gordon Wittenmyer of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Miley was sidelined for nearly three weeks with a strained left shoulder, but he'll rejoin the rotation Friday without requiring a minor-league rehab assignment. Miley may face some workload restrictions since he hasn't seen game action since May 22.
