Braves closer Craig Kimbrel shut the door on his 21st save Thursday, in a 3-0 win over the Nationals.
Kimbrel allowed one base runner by way of a walk, but was never in much trouble. He struck out two batters for the win, his fifth straight successful save.
Kimbrel has 21 saves in 24 chances on the season, to go with 52 strikeouts in 28 1/3 innings of work.
