Phillies third baseman Cody Asche is not in the team's starting lineup Friday against the Cubs.
Asche left Wednesday's game with a hamstring injury, but hasn't been able to return. He's considered day-to-day, and could be available to pinch hit. Asche is hitting .256 in 86 at-bats.
