Walker was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees due to right knee inflammation, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Walker has posted three consecutive multi-hit performances to begin the month of August, but he'll have to miss Tuesday's contest while he tends to his knee. Nelson Velazquez will start in right field in Walker's place and bat fourth.
