Gallegos (6-5) got the win in Friday's 4-3 victory over the Cubs, allowing two hits in one scoreless inning.
Gallegos entered a 3-3 tie in the ninth inning and allowed a leadoff double to Willson Contreras but he was eventually erased on a play at the plate, and he became the winner when St. Louis walked it off in the bottom of the inning. It was the 30-year-old's first win since June 28 as he's now thrown eight consecutive scoreless innings across his last eight appearances.
