Hudson (elbow) worked up to four innings and 46 pitches in his most recent rehab start for Double-A Springfield on Tuesday, the team's official site reports.
The right-hander's remarkable road to recovery continued without a hitch in that outing, one in which Hudson was able to scatter four hits and a walk while only allowing a pair of unearned runs. Hudson's velocity, feel and spin rates have all reportedly been solid through his first three rehab appearances, and he'll next take the hill for Springfield on Sunday.
