Winker (illness) isn't starting Friday against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

With Winker approaching a week's worth of games missed, the Brewers might consider placing him on the injured list if he does not get healthy soon. Rowdy Tellez will serve as Milwaukee's DH, and Luke Voit will start at first base, batting sixth.
