Peralta pitched 3.2 innings and did not factor into the decision of Wednesday's victory over the Phillies. He allowed three runs (one earned) on four hits and a walk while striking out four.
The 25-year-old was tagged for a solo home run by Bryce Harper in the first inning prior to allowing two unearned runs in the third inning. He was pulled in the fourth inning after only 81 pitches. It was Peralta's second start since returning from a shoulder injury and he has allowed five earned runs over 5.2 innings. His next start is expected to come Wednesday in Detroit.
