The Brewers placed Wilson on the 15-day injured list Monday with a lower-back strain.
Wilson tossed 2.2 scoreless innings out of the Milwaukee bullpen in Sunday's loss to the Rangers, but he evidently came out of the appearance injured. He will be eligible to return Sept. 15, but the Brewers haven't revealed a timetable for the righty.
