Atlanta selected Azocar's contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.
Azocar will give the club another right-handed-hitting outfielder while Eli White is away on paternity leave. Atlanta is not scheduled to face any lefty starting pitchers until Friday, so Azocar might not see much, if any, action before White returns later this week.
