Soler is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Brewers.
Atlanta and Milwaukee are wrapping up their series with a day game after a night game, so Soler's absence from the lineup would seem to be maintenance-related. Since being acquired from the Giants on July 29, Soler had started in right field and batted leadoff in each of Atlanta's last seven games, going 4-for-24 with one extra-base hit (a double), four walks, two runs and one RBI. Ramon Laureano will replace Soler in right field Thursday, while center fielder Jarred Kelenic steps into the leadoff spot.
