Jackson was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.
He will remain in Atlanta's organization after getting designated for assignment last week. Jackson has logged 1.1 scoreless innings over two MLB appearances this year and has a 1.53 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 20 strikeouts in 17.2 innings at Triple-A.
