Swanson went 3-for-4 with a homer, three RBI and three runs in Wednesday's 14-1 win over Philadelphia.
The fine effort pulled his batting average back over the Mendoza Line. It's certainly been a tough year for the 2015 draft's No. 1 overall pick, but it looks like the Braves -- going nowhere as they are -- will continue giving him the opportunity to play every day and gain experience. There are almost certainly better shortstop options kicking around on most waiver wires.
