Vizcaino has allowed two hits while striking out five in two scoreless innings so far this spring.

The 25-year-old hit triple digits on the radar gun in his Grapefruit League debut, according to ESPN's Jayson Stark, and followed it up with another multi-strikeout performance Tuesday. Jason Grilli is on the verge of making his spring debut, so the competition for the closer role in Atlanta may start to really heat up. It would make sense if the Braves attempted to build Grilli's trade value back up by giving him the ninth inning to start the season, but Grilli has to prove that he's fully recovered from the Achilles injury.
