The Marlins released Blalock on Tuesday, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.
Blalock spent the majority of the 2026 season at Triple-A Jacksonville, where he posted a 5.56 ERA and 1.48 WHIP across 110 innings. He is expected to pursue an opportunity overseas.
