The slick-fielding Goins is off to a dreadful start at the plate, hitting just .155 with one home run and five RBI in 32 games. With Devon Travis still sidelined, Darwin Barney will get the start at second base and Goins could continue to cede playing time if he can't pick up his performance at the plate.
