The Athletics signed Suero to a minor-league contract Nov. 20.
Suero was roughed up in five relief appearances for Atlanta in 2025, yielding eight runs on 10 hits and four walks over 6.1 innings. The 34-year-old hasn't seen significant action at the big-league level since 2021 and is likely to begin the 2026 season at Triple-A Las Vegas.
