Olson is considered day-to-day with a left thumb contusion, Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Olson was plunked on his left hand in the seventh inning of Monday's game and was lifted in the eighth. Fortunately, it sounds like he avoided a serious injury, with Rubin reporting that there is nothing broken. Mitch Moreland is dealing with a hamstring injury, so Seth Brown could get more run if Olson is forced to miss additional time.
