Chapman was reassigned to Triple-A Sacramento, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports.
Chapman hit .255 with an OPS of .874 over 26 Cactus League games this spring. He managed to slug three home runs along with two triples and a double, but also struck out 16 times over 58 plate appearances. He'll return to Sacramento to continue developing his bat.
