Canha went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 11-10 loss to the Blue Jays.

He took Jordan Romano deep in the ninth inning, seemingly bailing out the A's after the bullpen squandered an 8-2 lead in the eighth inning and let the Jays tie it up, but then Sergio Romo served up a walkoff shot to Marcus Semien in the ninth. Canha has gone yard three times in the last four contests to help extend his hitting streak to seven games, but despite the hot stretch he's still batting only .237 on the season with 15 homers, 12 steals, 49 RBI and 79 runs through 514 plate appearances.
