Heim is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Heim continues to operate as the Athletics' primary catcher but will hit the bench Sunday while in the midst of a 1-for-31 slump. Brian Serven will take over behind the plate and bat ninth for the series finale in Houston.
