Chapman was recalled from Triple-A Fresno on Monday, MLB.com reports.
Chapman will offer the Astros a left-handed option out of the bullpen during their push for the postseason. Over 26.2 big-league innings, Chapman has held lefty hitters to a .220/.327/.276 batting line.
