The Astros recalled Teng from Triple-A Sugar Land on Friday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Teng was optioned to Sugar Land in late July and worked exclusively out of the bullpen, turning in a 3.48 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB across 10.1 innings. He'll work in relief for the Astros after making 10 starts for the team earlier this season.
