The Astros outrighted Weems to Triple-A Sugar Land on Wednesday.
Weems elected free agency after being outrighted by the Astros last month before re-signing on a minor-league contract. It's possible he'll go that route again, although it's unclear what the reliever's plan is. He's been hammered for seven runs with a 0:3 K:BB over 4.1 innings during his brief time in the majors this season.
