Bregman, who started the season with multiple hits in each of the first four games, is hitless in his last nine at-bats. The top of Houston's order -- Jose Altuve, Michael Brantley and Bregman -- which propelled the Astros through their hot start, are a combined 3-for-25 in the first two games of the series against the Athletics.
