Moncada (ankle) is batting third and playing third base Friday against Colorado, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
Moncada is in the starting lineup for the first time since picking up a left ankle injury Sunday. The third baseman has slashed .239/.342/.462 with 12 home runs this season. He's hitless with four strikeouts in his last seven at-bats, however.
