Meckler is not in the starting lineup Thursday night against the Athletics, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Meckler will take a seat as the Angels face left-hander Gage Jump on the mound in Thursday's series opener. Christian Moore will draw the start in left field and bat sixth versus the A's.
