Ohtani got a no-decision in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Oakland, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks with 10 strikeouts in eight innings.
Ohtani was in his customary dominant form on the mound Sunday and shut Oakland down aside from two solo home runs surrendered. The 10 strikeouts ties Ohtani's season high, while his 108 pitches thrown are his second most in any start this season. The outing was a nice rebound from his last start, when he permitted six runs against the Astros on Sep. 10. There's been no word yet on when Ohtani might take the mound next.
