The Angels signed Peralta to a minor-league contract Monday.
Peralta collected a 4.37 ERA and 29:18 K:BB over 35 innings in parts of the previous two campaigns with the White Sox and had been pitching in the Mexican League this year. He will give the Halos some left-handed relief depth at Triple-A Salt Lake.
