Schanuel was removed from Wednesday's game against the White Sox due to a lower right leg contusion.

Schanuel struck out swinging after fouling a ball off his leg during his lone at-bat in the top of the first inning, and he didn't take the field once the Angels went on defense to begin the bottom half of the frame. If he's unable to play in Thursday's series finale, Brandon Drury could be in line to pick up a start at first base.
