Lorenzen (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday.
Lorenzen has been out with a shoulder strain since early July and suffered a setback a few weeks later. He's been throwing again for a week and could begin a rehab assignment soon, but this transaction means he'll be ineligible to return to the active roster before early September.
