The Angels designated Fulmer for assignment Sunday.
Fulmer will lose his spots on the 40-man roster and the 26-man active roster after the Angels reinstated Yusei Kikuchi (shoulder) from the 60-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Sunday versus the Rangers. After being called up from Triple-A Salt Lake last weekend, Fulmer made three appearances out of the Angels bullpen, striking out four while scattering two hits and two walks over 3.2 scoreless innings.
