Duffy (face) isn't starting Friday against the Athletics, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Duffy suffered a facial laceration Tuesday against the Rangers and will remain out of the lineup for a second straight game. However, he went 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter Wednesday, so it's possible he'll be available off the bench once again.
