Rengifo (thumb) is starting at second base and batting ninth Wednesday against the Rangers, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
The 23-year-old hasn't seen the field since Sunday due to the left thumb sprain, but he'll return to the starting nine for Wednesday's contest. Rengifo has a .159/.293/.217 slash line through 83 plate appearances this season.
