Wong was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake prior to Friday's game against the Mariners, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

This will mark the third trip to the big leagues for Wong this season. He didn't find much success with the Angels in his previous stints, as he slashed .179/.200/.282 across 43 plate appearances. He figures to serve in a reserve role going forward.
