Davis cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday.
Davis lost his spot on the Angels' 40-man roster Tuesday after only nine plate appearances with the team. He'll have the opportunity to elect free agency, or he can stick within the organization at Salt Lake.
